Looking for a weekend in San Antonio? Here are some places you must go to.
I recommend staying in the center near the Riverwalk, everything is walkable at that point except for the Missions.
Riverwalk
One of the famous places in San Antonio, filled with restaurants, bridges and colorful boats. It is a very toursity place however it cannot be missed!
You can take a boat tour for $16 including tax, I recommend buying them in person near one of the restaurants rather than online (it will be cheaper).

2. The Alamo
Part of the five Missions of San Antonio, you can enter the church and visit its beautiful garden.

3. Historic Market Square
Known as the largest Mexican market outside of Mexico and is a fantastic place to eat and get all your souvenirs!

4. Mission San Jose
It is part of the five Missions with the Alamo as well. They are Spanish colonial structures, dating as from the 1700s. It is the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Texas.
Little tip: On Sundays you can assist ceremonies in spanish!

Wondering what to eat?
For lunch or dinner you can go to Cafe Ole (Mexican style) or Paesanos (Italian) located on the Riverwalk.
We wanted to have a special night at Cafe Ole so we gave the musicians $20 to have a private music show, it really elevated the night out and the food was 10/10!
For something sweet you can go to Voodoo Doughnuts or Kilwin’s for some Ice Cream, I highly recommend them.
